Rotations is the latest edition in Dawson Mansell's series of live-recorded singles.
This single reflects on how much change can occur in a year and how we can return to this idea when faced with mental anguish.
The series was created with the intent of showcasing raw, authentic live folk while breaking ties with the over-perfectionism that DM has allowed to hold him back from releasing music for too long.

Drawing influence from artists like Nick Drake, Richard Thompson and Emma Ruth Rundle, Dawson Mansell combines a love of folklore with deep inner reflection. One moment you’ll find yourself grounded in the realities of our world, while the next may see you whisked away to a dreamland.
Dawson Mansell performs regularly across Victoria and tutors many guitarists in the Ballarat region.
In August 2025 he composed and recorded the score for choreographer Riley Fitzgerald’s Everyb0dy’s G0t A B0mb, which represented Australia at the Mexico City International Contemporary Dance Festival with a unique combination of Folk, World and Noise music.
